As part of our recognition of schools transformation and leadership already happening in Peruvian schools, we actively participated in the process of identification of best practices through the national contest organised by the Ministry of Education.
In August 2018, we participated in the event that congregates the winners of best practices in year 2017 wherein over 150 teachers from all over Peru showcased their experiences.
In November 2018 our UK partner, Schools, Students and Teachers Network (SSAT), delivered a workshop on Leading Schools Transformation to the Best Practices Contest awardees and their headteachers. This workshop enabled a needs analysis related to Peruvian leadership to establish a path for educator professional development.
