The IELTS English test offers two options to take your test: paper or computer.
In both cases you will take the exact same IELTS test, with the same content and structure. The only difference is that you can choose to write your answers on a computer or on paper, whichever suits you best.
We recommend you to register before the registration deadline and check the IELTS dates we have available in Peru.

Important information
- Some of our IELTS test centres are now delivering the IELTS Speaking test via video call. This means greater flexibility in the delivery of IELTS Speaking tests, along with greater availability.
- You will take the Speaking test by video call at an official IELTS test center, with the same high standard of identity verification. The test will be exactly the same as the in-person speaking test in terms of content, scoring, timing, question format and security arrangements.
- Administered by an IELTS Speaking examiner, the Video Call Speaking test will retain the face-to-face features of the in-person Speaking test. For more information, please contact your local test center.
- We recommend that you register well in advance to find the most convenient date for you.
- The IELTS Listening, IELTS Reading and IELTS Writing sections of all IELTS tests are taken on the same day. However, your IELTS Speaking test can be taken on the same day as the other sections or during the week before or after the date you have selected for your IELTS Writing test.
- Once you have completed your registration for the IELTS computer-based test, you will not be able to request changes to your test time, module or test type. You will receive email notifications with the dates, place and time you selected for both your interview and the other components of the IELTS English test.
- When you take the paper-based IELTS test, between seven and three working days before the date you have selected for your written test, you will receive an email notification with the dates, place and time of both your interview and the other components of the test.
- Please note that if you have any special requirements, you will need to take the IELTS paper-based English test.
- If you are applying for a visa to immigrate to the United Kingdom, you may be required to take the IELTS for UKVI test.
