Our official British Council IELTS test centres in Peru can help if you have visual, hearing, speaking or learning difficulties. If you need a modified version of IELTS, please give the test centre six weeks’ notice.

- If special measures must be taken (for example, additional time), please give the IELTS test centre six weeks notice.
Your English language ability will be assessed objectively, regardless of any disability or special needs that you may have.
What do the special arrangements include?
- Braille questionaires

- Modified listening CD with necessary stops and pauses
- Hearing impaired version of the listening test

If you are visually impaired, we can offer you:
- Enlarged print question papers
- Braille question papers
- Scribe and reader
If you have hearing difficulties, we can offer you:
- special amplification devices
- a lip-reading version of the listening module
If you have dyslexia, we can arrange:
- extra time for reading comprehension and writing tests
What should I do if I have an IELTS special arrangement need?
Contact the official British Council IELTS test centre where you registered as soon as possible if you have special needs that may require a modified version of the IELTS test.
